Recent Engagements

 
  • In the fall session, Flannery performed as soprano soloist for children’s outreach and soloist for the Dayton Philharmonic Young People’s Concert: Pure Imagination. She sang as a soloist for mini outreach concerts on World Opera Day, the Omega Portraits of Hope Gala, and Encore Volunteer Celebration.

    In December, Flannery performed as soprano soloist with the Dayton Philharmonic, conducted by Neal Gittleman.

    In the spring, Flannery will continue performing as soprano soloist for children’s outreach and sing with the Dayton Philharmonic for their Young People’s Concert: The Orchestra Moves.

  • Gabrielle performed as Vierte Magd. in Strauss’ Elektra. Conducted by Elda Laro and Directed by Richard Gammon. She also participated in the Lieder Festival singing selections from Mozart.

  • In the fall session, Flannery performed as Lucy in Dracula: Bloodlines, soloist and ensemble in Sweeney Todd, and soprano soloist for children’s outreach. In the spring, Flannery performed as a soloist for Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra: On Broadway!, soloist for community engagement recitals, and soprano soloist for children’s outreach.

  • Flannery performed the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with Bay View Music Festival. Richard Gammon directed, and Everett McCorvey conducted. Flannery performed as Nella in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, directed by Richard Gammon and conducted by Casey Robards. Earlier in the summer festival, Flannery performed as Silly Girl and Ensemble in Beauty and the Beast directed by Justin Lucero and conducted by Chris Ludwa.

  • Flannery premiered the role of Abby in The Beehive by Jorge Sosa and Melissa Tien with the University of Northern Iowa. She worked under Richard Gammon, Director, and Erik Rohde, Conductor. Flannery participated in the original libretto read for The Beehive in Fall of 2021 and performed the role of Abby in the piano workshop premier of November 2022.
