In the fall session, Flannery performed as Lucy in Dracula: Bloodlines, soloist and ensemble in Sweeney Todd, and soprano soloist for children’s outreach. In the spring, Flannery performed as a soloist for Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra: On Broadway!, soloist for community engagement recitals, and soprano soloist for children’s outreach.

Flannery performed the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angeiica with Bay View Music Festival. Richard Gammon directed, and Everett McCorvey conducted. Flannery performed as Nella in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi directed by Richard Gammon and Conducted by Casey Robards. Earlier in the summer festival, Flannery performed as Silly Girl and Ensemble in Beauty and the Beast directed by Justin Lucero and conducted by Chris Ludwa.

Flannery most recently premiered the role of Abby in The Beehive by Jorge Sosa and Melissa Tien with the University of Northern Iowa. She worked under Richard Gammon, Director, and Erik Rohde, Conductor. Flannery participated in the original libretto read for The Beehive in Fall of 2021 and performed the role of Abby in the piano workshop premier of November 2022.

Flannery participated in La bohème, performing the role of Musetta with the Bay View Music Festival orchestra. She worked under Richard Gammon, Director, Dr. Everett McCorvey, Conductor, and Dr. Casey Robards, Conductor. While at the Bay View Music Festival, Flannery also participated in The Sound of Music as Sister Sophia, sang with the vesper choir, participated in master classes, and offered solo performances.

Ms. Flannery played the role of Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with the University of Northern Iowa’s opera theatre and orchestra. She performed under Richard Gammon, director, and Dr. Erik Rohde, conductor. While at University of Northern Iowa, Flannery participated as a soloist in the annual Glitter or Gold concert singing Ricky Ian Gordon and Menotti. In the spring she sang Pamina and Fiordiligi in the spring opera scenes program, Mozart & Guise, and Flannery sang as a soloist for Lang’s Match Girl Passion with the UNI Chorale.
